Soft Tissue Therapy

Our soft tissue therapies can be incorporated into your chiropractic care plan to help address muscle tension, restrictions, and areas of discomfort.

Depending on your needs, treatment may include:

  • Cupping
  • Taping
  • Scraping
  • Other soft tissue techniques

What is soft tissue therapy used for?

Soft tissue techniques may be used to:

  • Reduce muscle tension
  • Improve mobility
  • Support recovery
  • Address areas of tightness
  • Improve movement
  • Complement chiropractic adjustments

Your treatment will be based on what we find during your evaluation.

Rehabilitation & Exercise Planning

Build Strength. Improve Movement. Stay Active.

Chiropractic care isn’t only about what happens on the treatment table.

We want to help you move better in your everyday life.

Rehabilitation and exercise planning can provide targeted exercises designed around your specific needs and goals.

Your plan may focus on:

  • Building strength
  • Improving posture
  • Increasing mobility
  • Improving stability
  • Supporting recovery after an injury
  • Improving movement patterns
  • Preventing recurring problems

Exercises are selected based on your individual situation, and we’ll explain how to perform them correctly so you can feel confident doing them at home.

Why exercise matters

When appropriate, combining hands-on care with targeted exercises can help patients take an active role in their recovery.

Our goal is to help you not only feel better, but also understand how to keep moving well.

E-STIM

Electrical Stimulation Therapy

E-STIM, or electrical stimulation, uses gentle electrical currents delivered through small pads placed on the skin.

The treatment is designed to provide therapeutic stimulation to the underlying muscles and tissues.

What can E-STIM do?

Depending on the individual patient and condition, E-STIM may be used to:

  • Reduce pain by helping interrupt pain signals
  • Relax tight or spasming muscles
  • Support circulation to injured tissues
  • Help stimulate muscles following injury or irritation

Common reasons we use E-STIM

E-STIM may be incorporated into care for:

  • Muscle spasms or tightness
  • Acute or chronic neck and back pain
  • Extremity pain
  • Nerve-related pain or tingling
  • Post-injury inflammation

What does E-STIM feel like?

Most patients describe E-STIM as a comfortable tingling, tapping, or pulsing sensation.

It should not be painful.

Your provider will adjust the intensity based on your comfort level and treatment needs.

Digital X-Rays

Convenient, On-Site Digital Imaging

When imaging is appropriate, having digital X-rays available in our office allows us to gather additional information that can help guide your care.

Our on-site digital X-ray equipment provides clear images quickly, allowing us to evaluate the areas of concern and develop an appropriate care plan.

Why might an X-ray be recommended?

Depending on your symptoms and history, an X-ray may help us evaluate:

  • Spinal alignment
  • Bone structure
  • Joint spaces
  • Degenerative changes
  • Areas affected by an injury
  • Other findings that may influence your care

X-rays are not necessary for every patient. We determine whether imaging is appropriate based on your individual history and examination.

Therapeutic Ultrasound

Deep Tissue Therapy Using Sound Waves

Therapeutic ultrasound uses sound waves—not electrical current—to deliver therapeutic energy to tissues beneath the skin.

It can be used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan for certain soft tissue and musculoskeletal conditions.

What can therapeutic ultrasound do?

Depending on the condition being treated, therapeutic ultrasound may help:

  • Increase blood flow to targeted tissues
  • Reduce inflammation and swelling
  • Support tissue healing
  • Address scar tissue and adhesions
  • Improve mobility and flexibility

Common reasons we use therapeutic ultrasound

It may be incorporated into care for:

  • Tendon or ligament injuries
  • Muscle strains
  • Joint stiffness
  • Scar tissue from previous injuries
  • Certain soft tissue conditions

What does therapeutic ultrasound feel like?

Most patients feel little or nothing during treatment.

Some patients notice a gentle warmth in the area being treated.

The treatment is designed to work beneath the surface of the skin while remaining comfortable.

How Do We Decide Which Services You Need?

You don’t have to figure that out on your own.

Your care begins with an evaluation and conversation about your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, and goals.

Based on your individual situation, we may recommend one service or a combination of services.

For example, a patient may receive:

Chiropractic adjustment + soft tissue therapy + E-STIM

while another patient may benefit from:

Chiropractic adjustment + therapeutic ultrasound + rehabilitation exercises

Every patient is different, which is why we create individualized care plans.
